About

History

Recovery House of St. Louis was established in early 2011 under the name of Kaizen Properties with the primary goal of providing transitional living and supportive housing for individuals in recovery from alcohol and drugs.

The house will provide residents with a supportive environment allowing individuals to achieve their desired level of independence and responsibility while abstaining from alcohol and non-prescribed substances.

About Us

People who are emotionally healthy are in control of their emotions and behavior. They’re able to handle life’s inevitable challenges, build strong relationships, and lead productive, fulfilling lives. They bounce back when bad things happen and can manage stress without falling apart.

Recovery is ultimately about emotional health and occurs in one’s home and natural environment. Whether you are returning from a residential/inpatient program or taking the first steps towards recovery in an outpatient setting, Recovery House provides the structure, discipline, and accountability to achieve long term freedom from drugs and alcohol.

Recovery House is centered on creating a conducive home environment needed to make life changes away from the people, places, and stressors which first lead to and fuel addiction. By creating and entering a new environment, a brotherhood, of individuals who are all striving for long-term sobriety and emotional health, our residents are learning to rely on themselves while breaking down their walls of isolation in order to transition back into their home, work, and natural environment.
